These come vacuum packed for international shipping. Be very careful when opening the packaging as cutting the item is quite possible if one is even a little casual.The plus factors - The item came about two weeks prior to the earliest projected date. I purchased the overside item, 120' x 98' and finally have something that actually covers the bed and its sides properly.Durability - I think that the item will be good for several years even with my dog digging at it virtually every evening.The minus factor (a BIG one) - I bought the item in taupe. The item delivered is much lighter in color than it is represented in the photograph at the Amazon website. I've included a photo for comparison purposes The invoice, such as it is, does not state a color. I've looked at all of the items on offer at the website and none matches what I have so I believe that the photo is just not accurate. Had I known the true color, I would not have purchased the item. As to returning it, too much trouble!I bought these sheets just before going into hospital in February, I washed them & put them in the laundry cupboard,Ater changing the beds I thought they were nice & comfy, I was about to change my beds & noticed something odd, on checking, I was correct there is a hole in the fitted sheet on one bed. Now considering they haven't been but once I find this rather odd.I will be contact the supplier in due course.The material is quite light-weight and I wouldn't expect it to be very hard wearing but will be sufficient for my needs as it will be used on a bed which gets used less than once a week.It fits the single bed I needed it for very well, the bottom (fitted) sheet coping with the depth of the mattress I have on the bed.The label on the set gives little away as to its place of manufacture, simply saying 'Made in the EU'I would rate the set as adequate for the price.Well, they're soft.They are thinner material than I expected -- and the size is not generous. In fact, the fitted sheet only barely fit over the single mattress and certainly wasn't a good fit that covered the sides of the mattress all the way around. Perhaps would have been better on a thinner mattress.
