I looked at quite a few of these and Anndywell/Arteaco is the only company that seems to be marketing their down as a value added product. Anndywell is in a huge duck down producing region. They also make yard goods so they are very well poised to offer value in their down comforter .Don't be afraid of Duck Down! "Eider Down" is duck down and it's also considered the top tier in down. The fill power of down is whats most important. If you're building a room to list on airbnb you probably want the ad to say "goose down" . However, if you want value in bedding go straight for duck down. I would put this quilt up against anything any company is offering including Feathered Friends .The down comforter market is full of shenanigans. One company listed their down fill power as 900 per 2 oz of down (it's supposed to be per 30 grams down) . I actually trust Arteaco/Anndywell given their position. Buying from a value added reseller of down means you can avoid middlemen who can only profit by adulterating with feathers, down fiber or down alternative.Really, it's a duvet insert but I can see people using it without a cover. The 70/30 material is excellent. It's a bit snappy like percale . It does have a "rustle" to it. I don't find it loud but I have limited experience here. I actually like the rustle. With a cover, I don't hear it. It's completely down proof . ZERO down on the ground!I love the dry coolness of 100% cotton sheets but for down comforters cotton/poly blends are better because they allow for thinner , lighter fabrics with greater strength. Light fabrics let down loft to it's fullest potential. Arteaco does offer a 100% cotton / 750 fill power version that is about 15% less expensive than this model. The description mentioned "box stitch" design. That wasn't clear to me . The comforter is "Baffle box" not "stitched through" . The down cells are 3d . That's how it should be with this much 800 fp down. The Bamboo Charcoal Hydrophobic (3M Non- PFC) Down is super lofty . Comparing the loft of the comforter with my Western Mountaineering flight jacket (850+ goose down , untreated) show the Anndywell product to be of very high quality. This comforter is also completely scentless. I smell nothing. The bamboo charcoal will keep it that way for longer as well. It might even save countless tens from an early death by dutch oven.I would like to see Anndywell be successfull in this market and offer a summer weight version. This is a great comforter and a fantastic value. I am not connected in any way with taiwan, andywell, amazon blah blah blahLoved itIt's like sleeping under a cloud of warmth. Highly recommend!!! (I do find it ridiculous they required a picture.)We have been having sleep experiences that have been giving us nice REM sleep times. The cover is very lightweight but takes our heat and keeps it from overheating us by transferring just the right amount of heat to keep us comfortable while we sleep. This in turn really keeps us sleeping longer and more deeply. We have placed it into a duvet so we don’t have to dry clean or wash the comforter as often and to keep it in pristine condition longer. It’s also been boxed to insure all areas have the same heat potential with the right amount of fill in each box. The overall stitching was excellent and straight and consistent throughout the comforter. It’s also made sleeping time more enjoyable and waking up more refreshed. What’s not to like. Four Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!Words cannot describe how happy I am to have this down comforter! You know the pictures on ads of a nice, fluffed up bed? That's what my bed looks like now. It's like lying in a puddle of clouds, or floating on cotton candy. I've used it throughout the summer when the AC was set to around 62 and slept great. It isn't lightweight.. but it's not overfilled to the point of being too warm. I can't wait to start opening the windows at night during the winter to enjoy the full effect of the warmth though! It wasn't cheap, but this is the only blanket I'll ever use again. It'll last for a lifetime because of it's amazing quality. I cannot recommend it enough, splurge now so you can enjoy it forever! When this comforter arrived, I was a bit surprised by how small the box was - it turns out, the manufacturer vacuum packed the comforter to save space in shipping - very clever. Upon opening the vacuum pack plastic back around the comforter, it quickly expanded and unfolded, though it remained wrinkled for some time.Overall I would say this is a middleweight comforter - it's not as heavy as some for really cold temperatures (which hopefully don't happen often indoors!) and certainly has some weight and warmth to it (unlike lighter weight summer blankets). The grey color is fairly attractive and soft to the touch but will likely be covered by a comforter cover in the near future. Quality in the stitching and material seems to be very good, but we'll ultimately have to see how it holds up over the long haul. All in all, a pretty good comforter if you need one!I love this thing! I have one of those hospital bed type beds that are actually two XL Twins. The bed articulates independently and I like a LIGHT comforter and a LIGHT sheet ONLY, all year round. My wife? She likes it 155 degrees all year round, and 27 blankets AND a comforter! Now, to be clear, I am a very athletic sleeper in that I bounce from side to side and then on my back then repeat. I need a LIGHT and sturdy comforter!!!This is it!!!!!! I love this thing! Oddly warm when I need a little warmth... Nice and cool when I need it cooi! This is soft yet sturdy!!!! I love this thing!I like that this is light weight and I don't get to warm using it. I did put it in a duvet cover because it is dry clean only and having little kids at home that is just a disaster waiting to happen. I would eventually like to get everyone in my home a down. This is very reasonable priced for the quality.
